BACKGROUND

The historical Tuscan company Federighi SpA goes live on the consumer market under the brand name Blanc Mariclò, offering a broad range of visually appealing products and items for the home.
The company’s main customers are B2B in Italy and internationally, but with the collaboration with Calicantus it is now reaching out to end customers via online sales.

STRATEGIES AND TOOLS

The new web project required considerable effort in both communication and technical aspects. The aesthetic style of the Blanc Mariclò brand had to be transposed to the digital channel, an become a true extension of the shopping experience of the physical points of sale.

As well as graphic design, special efforts were also made to optimize orders management and production information. Indeed, integration with the AS400 management system (which, from one user, serves up to tens of thousands simultaneously in the execution of business management programs) has allowed the synchronization of the catalogue, master data and various details (article code, name, prices and descriptions) and the alignment of available warehouse stock.

Last but not least, a system connecting couriers has been set up to expedite also the bookings of pick-ups, to provide an even more efficient service to end users.

 


The synergy between the IT system creates organizational efficacy: the integration of e-commerce and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) makes it possible to approach end consumers by optimizing the management of all technical and commercial aspects
