Atelier Fornasetti was founded in Milan in 1940 from the vision of artist Piero Fornasetti. Characterized by a strong artisanal foundation, the brand is now internationally recognized for its production of hand-decorated and hand-painted furniture, accessories, and porcelain.

Its origins date back to the 1930s, with the Stamperia d’Arte founded by Piero Fornasetti. The dialogue with Gio Ponti contributed to the definition of a mature decorative language, recognizable by the black line of the print, capable of weaving together diverse iconographic sources with an ironic yet cultured spirit.

At the heart of Fornasetti’s research is the desire to bring decoration into everyday objects, transforming them into instruments of storytelling and imagination. Today the brand is recognized for its iconic decorative universe, in which the face of Lina Cavalieri, architectural elements, and perceptual games become recurring themes of a timeless poetics.

The project was created to reposition the historic legacy of Atelier Fornasetti in the global digital market, delegating the entire operational complexity to Calicantus to preserve the brand’s focus on creativity.

Calicantus acts as the official seller and tax intermediary, managing:
– Transactions and Fraud: Collection of B2C/B2B orders with advanced anti-fraud control systems.

Given the iconic and delicate nature of the products, logistics management is highly specialized:
– Multi-logistics & ERP: Integration of systems (WMS/ERP) for perfect synchronization between Calicantus warehouses and the Atelier.

– Dangerous Goods (ADR/IATA): Certified management for international shipping of perfumes and fragrances.
